Parish Affiliation
Sir John Thompson is affiliated with St. Edmund Parish. We celebrate mass a few times a year at Queen of Martyrs Parish, which is located a few blocks away. The school will share notices of parish sacramental preparation throughout the year. For more information, please contact the parish.

Religious Education
All of the Schools in the Edmonton Catholic School District use a Religious Education Program that is prescribed by our Alberta Bishops and provided through the National Office for Religious Education in Ottawa. The Program ranges from Kindergarten to Grade Twelve, and offers students with an overview of our Catholic faith as well as grade specific themes.

Our school community celebrates many times throughout the year. All students attend all our celebrations. Information regarding our celebrations is made available in our weekly updates and online calendar available on the website. We attend mass at our neighbourhood parish, Queen of Martyrs Vietnamese Catholic Parish, several times per year in addition to our celebrations at school.
